 Red Resort is the local skiing mecca and encompasses two mountains -Red and Granite. The resort boasts a vertical of 2900' and a combined vertical of 4,400'. Skiers can choose from over 83 runs on 1,685 skiable acres of terrain. Construction and testing of a new quad chairlift is complete. The new lift will be operational in December of 2007 and provide an additional 100 acres of new beginner terrain.
Here you will find some of the best tree skiing in North America with wonderfully varied terrain and ski programs to satisfy the whole family. Ski the beginners area, treed slopes, terrain park, wide-open groomers, or go for the steep and deep powder bowls. What you will find is world class skiing, what you will not find is long lineups!

- Kirsty Exner, two-time silver medallist in the World Extreme Free-skiing Championships offers women's freeskiing camps and bike camps.
- Canadian Ski Quest offers Adult, Race, and Free Ski Camps. You get great instruction, skiing, food and accomodations for an all inclusive ski holiday.
- Salmo is a nearby smaller hill that also offers great skiing and weekday night-skiing.
