Montrose
Founded in 1942 on a flat acreage above the Columbia River, Montrose is home to about 1200 residents today. Named after a popular community in Scotland, Montrose is known for its unique vantage of the Columbia River Valley and its fresh clean water. It is a newer housing area, very family oriented with safe streets and good schools with the Waneta Plaza shopping mall just down the highway. Montrose is pretty, quiet and wholesome whilst being very close to all amentities.
