Family Resources


The  Trail Family and Individual Resource Centre Society (FAIR) works with families and individuals to build strong communities. FAIR offers a wide range of programs, support services, resources and information to assist residents from pregnancy and childhood through to adulthood.

 

FAIR has been a part of the community since 1977 and offers programs and services such as: a pregnancy outreach program, children's programs, a regional mental health and addictions advocacy service, violence & abuse counseling, a transition house, second stage housing, a regional 24/7 crisis line service and a wide range of other programs and services.

  • FAIR's Community Service Directory is a comprehensive information resource of community service organizations and programs for the Kootenay Boundary in an online searchable database format.
  • The Child Care Resource and Referral Program provides assistance and guidance to anyone seeking information on child care and parenting issues. Services include a toy lending library, caregiver registry, educational workshops and drop-in playgroups.
