AMEC AMERICAS LIMITED is a highly respected consulting company with a large mining division office in Trail. It’s staff of 100 engineers and technologists provide engineering design, construction and other services. As part of one of the world’s largest engineering companies, the Trail office is performing work locally, in the Elk Valley coal industry, the Hanford Nuclear Reservation in Washington State, and in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Trail office completed the mine development work for Teck Cominco at their Pend’Oreille mine. The office continues to provide Teck Cominco’s Trail Operations with specialized engineering services.

ABB has also established mutually beneficial relationships with other businesses in the region.
